Ugandan artist Mungu Feni recently threw a big birthday surprise for  comedian MC Kash as he turned 34th.

What began as a light-hearted joke during a comedy performance turned into a life-changing for the comic. 

MC Kash, known for his self-deprecating humour, had “broken ribs” in the audience after joking about his struggles to own a car, turning his personal challenge into a source of laughter.

Among those in attendance at the Mayor of Kirabu comedy show was Mungu Feni, who was left in stitches by the performance.

Few expected that the laughter would lead to such a generous outcome.

To the surprise of many, Feni stepped forward and gifted his longtime friend a brand new Subaru, a gesture that left Kash visibly beaming with joy and gratitude.

Mungu Feni, who is also a director at Euro Gold Refinery, is widely recognised for his philanthropic spirit. 

His generosity extends far beyond this single act. Through the Mungu Feni Foundation, he supports more than 300 individuals and continues to play an active role in community development across the region.

The foundation’s efforts have not gone unnoticed. 

Recently, it received significant recognition at the West Nile Quality Brand Awards, taking home honours for Best Community Development NGO in West Nile 2025, Best Local NGO in West Nile 2025, as well as the Quality Excellence Award – Platinum.
