Andrew Kitaka appointed KCCA acting Executive Director

The Minister for Kampala Beti Kamya has appointed Andrew Kitaka as the acting Executive Director of Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA).

Kitaka's appointment comes days after Jeniffer Musisi resigned from the position she held for seven years.

He is the authority's director of Engineering and Technical Services.

Last week, Musisi handed over the officer to Kamya awaiting the appointment of a new executive director of the authority by President Museveni.

During the handover ceremony, Kamya disclosed that the president hadn't accepted Musisi's resignation despite issuance of notice in October.
