Controversial Pastor Augustine Yiga has revealed in a video posted on social media that he is alive and planning a powerful service in February.

The pastor was announced dead by his own TV station on their social media platforms -- in what seems to have been a horrible PR stunt.

Now, the pastor, who is currently in South Africa, said he is 'very well' and looking forward to returning to Uganda to lead a 'powerful service' next month.

"Everyone should come and see the power of God. It's the day I will be giving out miraculous rings," Yiga said in the video.

"I'm very well, I have never sold my church and have never sold any shares. Some people were trying to tarnish my name."

His TV station has since deleted the Facebook post where they claimed he had died in his sleep.
