The students from Kangubiri Girls High School were heading to Nairobi for their Mid-term break when their bus overturned at Tambaya on Nyeri-Mukurweini.

A tyre burst has been blamed for the accident that came at a time when the country is witnessing an increasing number of accidents involving school buses.

The injured were rushed to Mukurweini Sub County and Nyeri County Referral hospitals.

Reports indicate that no serious casualties were recorder during the Saturday morning accident.
