It is reported that several others have been rushed to hospital where they are nursing injuries.

The accident occurred when a matatu they were travelling in had a double tire burst and rolled.

The three who lost their lives included the driver and conductor of the matatu, who both died on the spot, with one passenger who succumbed while undergoing treatment at Kaplong Mission Hospital.
