Minister Musenero gives shoutout to Bobi Wine as his Askari rakes in KIU diploma

It was party time Saturday, November 25, at the home of musician and opposition leader, Bobi Wine, as one of his domestic employees finalized his studies.

Sherif Higenyi, who works at the Magere residence as an askari and gardener, was one of the graduands of Kampala International University. He graduated with a Diploma in Public Administration.

The university held its 28th graduation which was presided over by the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Hon Monica Musenero.

Hon Musenero in her speech made a special mention to Mr. Bobi Wine who was in attendance, calling upon him and other leaders in their respective capacities to emphasise the importance of science and technology to the Ugandan population.

I am glad to hear that Hon Kyagulanyi, leader of one of the political parties in the country is here; I salute you,” she said.

"As leaders of political parties and in other capacities, it is important that we all understand the critical importance of science, technology and innovation.”

Bobi Wine on Saturday morning, took to social media to share a heartwarming congratulatory message to Higenyi upon completing his studies.

He revealed that Higenyi has been “working as a security guard by night, a gardener by day, and a student by weekend.”

Warm congratulations to one of our special employees, friend and family member-Higenyi Sherif.

A security guard by night, gardener by day, and student by weekend.

He graduates today from Kampala International University.
