Video: Dog conquers its fear and it's the cutest stress reliever

Everybody loves an underdog (pun intended) and when said underdog wins it can leave us feeling accomplished ourselves. There's just something about watching someone overcome their fear or overcoming your own fear. Interestingly, we share this trait with man's best friend.

For animal lovers, it may not come as a surprise that watching videos of dogs reduces stress and improves psychological well-being. But there's research to back this up.

According to this research, a dog could be playing or chilling and watching it would improve your mood and mind more than a video of nature.

For people who are afraid of animals, this sounds like great news because you don't have to overcome your fear of them to reap the benefits.

Starting with this video of a cute pug taking a leap of faith in a gym.

After a few seconds of debating his life's choices, he jumps into the waiting arms of the instructor to the delight of onlookers.

The elated dog basks in the attention and accomplishment along with some fans in the comment section.
