NRG Radio presenters DJ Niche and Reedah Yvonne welcomed Prim to Nairobi after which they asked her how "lit Ugandans get." Prim told the presenters, "The party in Uganda is mad, it's crazy." When asked to compare the two events, Prim said she doesn't have much experience with Nairobi nightlife, although she hopes to change that, but said, "I know there's no party in East Africa that beats the party in Kampala. Hands down."
Joshua Baraka, Prim Asiimwe hype Kampala nightlife in Kenya
Radio personality Prim Asiimwe was at NRG radio premises in Nairobi, Kenya where she got hooked in a versus battle of Kampala nightlife and the nightlife in Nairobi. It is Prim's second time in Kenya but the presenter is convinced Kampala nightlife is better, not only in comparison to Nairobi, but in East Africa.
Yvonne then revealed that when Joshua Baraka of "NANA" fame was visiting, he said Kenyans don't know how to drink. DJ Niche was quick to retaliate that Baraka's issue stemmed from the differences between how Ugandans and Kenyans react after tipping the bottle.
FIND OUT: Who is Joshua Baraka?
According to DJ Niche, Kenyans tend to become laid back when drinking, preferring relaxing and watching people get jiggy with it on the dancefloor. He said that in Uganda this mood is the opposite with hype and raving.
To this, Prim said, "In Uganda, we don't pretend. Why would we go out and then sit? Why are you outside anyway?"
