Here are some tips to help you prepare for the week

Have an idea of what you are going to eat throughout the week. This can help you eat a relatively balanced diet throughout the week rather than settling for whatever you think about at the moment, which may not be well thought out. Write down your meal plan for the week, do grocery shopping as needed and stick to the plan.

Have at least one opening in your week to hang out or do something outside work and outside the house. You don't have to make plans for it but just have it in case something comes up or you want to do something spontaneous.

Set aside a routine to treat yourself in whatever way you feel is perfect for you. At the end of the day, you should be able to give yourself something that makes you feel good. It can be celebrating a win at work, acknowledging something good that happens, or recognising your effort. Even a simple "Hey, good job" in the mirror with a wink, can be rewarding for you.

We all have a favourite day, or those days when we get the feeling that it is going to be a good day. This is the day to amplify that positive attitude! Pull out your best outfit, get something new no matter how small, take off the dirty casing off your phone, do your best walk, speak with confidence, be genuinely nice, be funny, laugh, etc.

On the other side, the days we dread or that go wrong can be damaging for us because they can ruin the rest of the week. Have a plan for when a day is not going so well for you. Prepare something you will practice or turn to on such a day.
