At the dinner attended by Sheebah’s close friends, fellow artists, and business associates, Mbabazi praised the ‘Yolo’ singer for dominating the Kololo show.

She also described Sheebah as her “gango,” a supportive friend who was there when she needed help.

I think many people have been waiting for me to speak about the show yesterday… because, yeah, it’s Lilian Mbabazi who used to sing with Cindy…but you (Sheebah) have been my ‘gango,’” she said.

This woman will pick you up when you are down… everybody goes through something; we are not always okay.”

Mbabazi also praised Sheebah’s work ethic, describing her as a “f***ing hustler” and one who decided on what she wanted to be and worked towards it.

The former Blu*3 songstress, on the other hand, passed a veiled attack on her former bandmate, Cindy, purporting that it was Sheebah who put her in the limelight.

Yes, I sang with Cindy, and it's beautiful,” she said.

You know she is a good singer, but even me I am a greater singer. But what I am saying is, you (Sheebah) gave a platform for Cindy; you guys sold out Kololo yesterday.”

Mbabazi, Cindy, and Jackie Chandiru were part of the phenomenal girl band Blue*3 which took the music scene by storm in 2004.

The group, however, fell apart just two years later as Cindy was thrown out following a disagreement over leave.

Cindy had reportedly angered her colleagues when she went on a longer vacation with her white boyfriend in Spain.

As of last year, there was talk of the three ladies getting back together. Chadiru said they had talked amongst themselves and agreed to put their differences aside.

Meanwhile, during yesterday’s dinner, Mbabazi commented on the rumor making rounds that she was one of Sheebah’s backup artists at the Kololo show.

On Twitter, the story was that I, Liliam Mbabazi was doing back-up for Sheebah on stage. It told them to let the girl have her shine. Why do you bring me up in your business,” she said.

I was just there sitting, but guess what…when Sheebah is good, they will come and look for the good person,” she said.
