Ugandan songs released this week

Sometimes you'll find an old song and that's because the artiste had only released the audio and the video is new.

Below are the top Ugandan songs released this week

1. Pawpaw by Jojobana

Jojobana hit Nessim's studio to release her first project of 2024 titled Paw Paw. It's a love song, whose video was directed by Edrine Paul.

Some of Edrine Paul's recent videos include Yamera (Malaika Ug), Yenze (Iryn Namubiru), Ndi Ready (Irene Namatovu & Geoffrey Lutaaya) and It’s Okay (Acidic Vokoz)

This is the first 2024 song of Jojobana whose catalog includes songs like Eiraro (featuring Amaani Amaniga), Bangire, Aga, Element, Oti, Omuyaye (collabo with Jkayz Alpha), Woman and Neighbour.

2. Body Fire by Slate Nation Ft Jose Chameleone

Jose Chameleone's love for South Sudan saw him collaborate with Slate Nation on Body Fire. Slate Nation, real name Ngot Peter Mou Athuai, is a South Sudanese-born Australia-based musician, artist, and songwriter.

It's a somewhat groovy song that would also be fine for listening pleasure. Its video is minimalistic but interesting to watch. Hint: It has beautiful vixens.

3. Falling in Love by Joshua Baraka & Leostaytrill

Joshua Baraka and British singer Leostaytrill finally released the video of their duet Falling in Love whose audio was produced by KatManDu.

Baraka has been very active since the year began with his most recent exciting project being Denge on which he teams up with King Perry, Savara, and Marioo.

Denge came shortly after Baraka released the video of Dalilah, a song off Joshua Baraka's latest Extended Play titled Growing Pains, which was released on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.

4. Nsonyiwa by Pallaso

In Nsoniywa, Pallaso pays tribute to his mother, Proscovia Musoke, and the soothing song is also part autobiographical, as the crooner talks about how he left Uganda for work in the U.S., getting imprisoned, and how he finally broke through as an artiste.

"Everyone makes a mistake; I'm not perfect, I am human," Pallaso says while begging for forgiveness from his mum in the song that was produced by Delete, mastered by Herbert Skills with a video directed by Dave Thymas Visuals.

5. Leero by Sam K!mera, Sandra Suubi, Afrie & Wake

Leero brought together Afrie, Sandra Suubi, Sam K!mera, and Wake -- who co-produced the song with Jethro. It's a funky song.

Sam Kimera has recently released a song titled Omuwala, which he wrote himself. Omuwala was produced by Sam Bisaso, who also made the beat for Naava Grey's latest single titled Ndibaawa, a soothing ballad with a cutesy vibe for listening pleasure.
