In 2015 Bebe Cool released Byebyo, which was written by A Pass and produced by Nessim. It’s a bouncy jam.
A Pass and Bebe Cool have always traded barbs through media, but when they link up in public they always appear to be friends. But Bebe Cool has always said that beef among musicians is always good for creating buzz and keeping them relevant even when they have no music.
Amidst plans for a battle between Bebe Cool and Jose Chameleone, A Pass has said that the two no longer have much to offer and they should talk to him to write for them better songs.
A Pass, born Alexander Bagonza, went to Kampala Kindergarten, Nakasero Primary School, Merryland High School and Creamland Campus of St. Lawrence Schools and Colleges.
He didn't attend university and left home to work with Bashir Lukyamuzi, alias Producer Badi – the founder of Badi Muzik Production. A Pass told his dad he wanted to concentrate on music and that he was leaving home.
He had started singing in church choir at a young age, as his mother was a pastor
He started writing music when he was in P.7.
He said he went through lots of rejections before making it. For instance, in 2007 he took his song to Sanyu FM and it was rejected because it was poorly produced.
He said he didn't take music to any radio until the end of 2013.
He focused only on recording.
