Diana revealed in a televised interview that her long-awaited collaboration with the Tanzanian failed to materialise because she declined to offer herself to him, and was also unable to raise the money he needed for the music videos.
Ugandan songstress Spice Diana dropped a bombshell allegation against Diamond Platnumz, claiming she turned down his sex advances last year.

“We have more than one song but honestly… it is the money. The kind of money needed to do a video with him is too much…I mean, this is a guy that just did a collabo with Jason (Derulo),” she said.
“When is he performing in Uganda he gets at least $100,000. That is money I have never earned in my life. That means that if I want to make a video with him it has to be at least $50,000.”
Making the move
Diana says Diamond offered to make it easier for her, but in return for something she was not ready to surrender.
“If he was to make it soft for me, it would involve giving up something I don't easily give up,” she said.
“I am stingy when it comes to that, and I always like doing my business in a straight line. The easy option was there, and if I chose it, he might even have done the video free of charge because I am a good looking woman, but I decided that we either do business as buddies or we part ways.”
She added, “I am a female artist and these are some of the challenges that we face. You have seen what is happening with Diddy, and I don't want to take that path. This industry is dirty.”
Diamond had promised to drop new songs with Diana when he was in Uganda in July last year for a Comedy Store concert.
During his stay, he had a studio session with Diana at his hotel.
Earlier at a press conference, he admitted having a connection with the Ugandan songbird, stating that he wouldn't mind having a child with her.
“I treat her as a sister but if something else happens, it's not going to be my fault... Besides, she’s not a bad person to have a kid with; she’s cute.” he said.
