Bien-Aimé Baraza later performed the song which was produced by another legend, Paddy Man, who has recorded other smash hits by Chameleone like Tubonge, Badilisha, Bolingo Ya Zambe, Yantuma (a duet with Nabbi Omukazi) and Agatako (a collaboration with Rwanda's Deejay Pius).

Meanwhile, Bien is set to perform at Kampala Serena Hotel today, Thursday, February 15 at an event organised by Malembe Entertainment.

Dubbed a Night with Bien, the event will be hosted by rapper and radio host Timothy Code who will work with Zion Kente, an actress and media personality that works with NRG Radio.

The comments from Bien come days after Kenyan singer Wyre said Bebe Cool is a representation of a typical superstar.

"Bebe, I just love his energy. Bebe cool can really inspire you, man. Bebe is a true definition of a superstar," said Wyre who once sang in the same group as Cool, real name Moses Ssali.

"He lives the lifestyle. The energy he gives anyone around him. He gives you psych to, you know, to do anything. In fact, the kind of vibe he gives you before you go on stage with him... You draw a lot of energy from him... I definitely love his energy. Funny guy to be around ... Always cracking jokes. Very cool guy."

Wyre, whose real name is Kevin Waire, while speaking to Ugandan media said that he and Bebe Cool met when the latter was in Nairobi trying to kickstart his music career.

Cool, who went to Kenya in 1997, first teamed up with Jose Chameleone and Redsan before joining Wyre and Nazizi to form the East African Bashment Crew under which they record hits like Kube, This Tune, Fire Anthem (which was produced by Magic Washington and Tony Houls) and Combination (featuring Peter Miles and Menshan).
