“The real fans knew, it's only the rest of you that just leant about it,” he said.

Kenzo had moments earlier dropped a bombshell declaration while performing at Comedy Store, that he and Nyamutoro have a child together.

Asked by reporters if they had held any marriage rites, Kenzo said, “All that is done. You are just late to the party.”

The singer says he and Nyamutoro planned to keep their relationship secret and that it only came out because of her cabinet appointment which shoved her deeper into the limelight.

Family affairs are not supposed to be in the news,’ he said.

If it was not for that inauguration, we could have gone even 20 years before some of you got to know.”

The youthful minister was sworn in along with the other new cabinet appointees. The event was presided over by Chief Justice Alphonse Owiny-Dollo and witnessed by President Yoweri Museveni at State House Entebbe.

After taking her oath, Nyamutoro savored a photo moment with Kenzo and the President. Taking to social media, Kenzo once again congratulated his supposed “close friend” Nyamutoro on the new milestone.

“It's such a joy to witness your swearing in as the Minister of State for energy and mineral development (Minerals),” he posted.

The youthful legislator from West Nile was reportedly one of the front persons at the Eddy Kenzo music festival at the Kololo Independence Grounds.

The concert took place on November 12, 2022, and was a huge success given the sheer number of people that attended, nearly filling up the vast ground.
