In a media interview, Nyonyozi, who was crowned Miss Uganda in August, revealed her admiration for the music of Brian Lubega.
Brian Lubega is a Ugandan gospel singer, songwriter, and pastor, widely recognised for his songs, which are often featured in church services across Uganda. Over the years, he has won several accolades, including the Royal Gospel Music Awards and the Groove Awards, and has performed alongside renowned artists like Don Moen.
Lubega began singing in 2003 while still in secondary school, where he was part of the church choir. In 2011, he officially launched his career as a professional gospel singer. His journey started as a volunteer at Youth for Christ ministries during his Senior Six vacation, and later, he released his debut album, Nungamya, which was well-received by the public.
In 2016, Lubega was ordained as a pastor, combining his musical career with his role as a spiritual leader.
