Kasuku refused to stay at Susan Makula's fancy house despite the offer coming with a daily allowance.

Makula and her fiancé Pastor Aloysius Bugingo at the start of this year unveiled a posh crib that was built on an expansive property in Namayumba, a settlement in Wakiso District.

Kasuku, real name Isaac Katende, has even visited the house before.

According to him, Makula at one point told him that when he goes on leave, he should come and stay with them.

"You know, Makula offered me to stay at her house whenever I'm on leave. I was to get whatever I desire for the time I stay there," said Kasuku in a video seen by this reporter.

"When I told her that I'm always working, she offered to pay me an equivalent of what I make so I don't have to work."

The media personality, however, said that the idea of waking up to pray every early morning scared him.

"But what scared me about staying at their house is waking me up early in the morning to pray," he said.

Pastor Bugingo and Susan Makula run Salt Media Group of Companies and the House of Prayer Ministries International, a church in Makerere, Kikoni, Kampala.

The couple recently hosted singer Grace Khan and her daughter at their house. Khan said she was introduced to Makula by socialite Bad Black.

Makula, who recently graduated with a Bachelor of Mass Communication and Journalism from Cavendish University, met Bugingo while she was working with Alpha FM and he was working with a sister station named Impact FM. They are both owned by Pastor Joseph Serwadda. When Bugingo launched Salt FM in 2014, he offered her a job as a music director.
