Roz and Kiwanuka, better known as Jeff Kiwa, have known each other since way before she even joined the music industry.

"He is my good friend and he has been there for me," she said. "He is the person who started it all. Gave me my first song. So I'm so attached to him and I trust him when it comes to music. I keep going back to him for music advice and giving me such kind of beautiful songs. So, he and I have a personal contract, you can term it the way you want it but all I can say is, TNS Baby!"

Nina Roz is among artistes Kiwa is currently supporting. Jeff Kiwa helped her procure her latest single titled Nwanilaako, which was produced by Nessim and has racked up over 125k views on YouTube in nine days.

Nina Nkunda was born in July 1993, the daughter of Matia Martin Nsemeirwe and Proscovia Tumukunde. Raised in Kibuli, she attended a series of schools, including St. Stephen's Church of Uganda Primary School, Kakungulu Memorial School, Kibuli S.S., Mityana Trinity College, and the International University East Africa. However, she chose to leave her university studies behind to pursue a music career.

During her high school years, Nkunda dabbled in modeling and served as a backup vocalist for the artist known as Empress. Following her departure from academia, in what could be described as her more sociable years, she encountered Sheebah Karungi during a boat cruise, an event she attended thanks to an invitation extended by someone who had engaged Karungi for a performance.

Before this encounter, Nkunda had already been spending time with notable figures such as Jeff, Kabako, AK47, and other members of TNS at various bars. Her meeting with Karungi on the cruise marked the beginning of a significant friendship, to the extent that Nkunda began staying at Karungi's residence.

Before venturing into her musical career, Nkunda sought employment opportunities in South Africa and Abu Dhabi, only to later recognize that her true passion lay in music, prompting her return to Kampala.

Upon her return in September 2016, she collaborated with Kabako to produce Oli Mekete, a track brought to life by Shidy Beats. The music video, created by Grate Make Films, was launched in October 2016.

Although Kiwa passed up the opportunity to manage her, Nkunda secured a contract with Boom Bark Records in 2017. It was there that Daddy Andre produced Omuliro, a hit song for her, with its video also produced by Grate Make. She continued to collaborate with various managers and producers, contributing to her repertoire of successful music releases.
