Frank Gashumba says a broke man is just an askari to a girlfriend

"We are in an era of useless men. Most men are their women's askaris [escort]... There is nothing as bad as going out with a woman and you've not contributed anything to what she is wearing... That's not a boyfriend, he is just an askari accompanying you to the event," Gashumba said in an interview.

Gashumba's comments come after an audio message recorded for his friend Diana to forward to his daughter, Sheila, leaked to the public.

In part of the message, the bombastic social media personality is heard referring to one of Sheilah's boyfriends as a rascal.

"One day they found me at a restaurant in Nsambya, he was with that rascal and his father, his ears and nose were pierced, with hair that looked like Kony's [Joseph Kony is the founder of the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA)]. You bring such people to me, Gashumba? Even if I'm dead," Gashumba said.

He went on to lambast the boyfriend for driving Sheilah's BMW (which was bought by Gashumba) instead of buying his own.

Many who listened to the audio said he was referring to musician Rickman Manrick.

Manrick has himself confessed that he finds no issue depending on a woman.

"I'm surviving on my rich woman... if there is anyone that's hurt, come and take it from me. My woman is rich; it's not bad to have a rich girlfriend... she is great, she is the best, and she is great, there is nothing you can tell me... she has everything... there is nothing you can take away from her," he said.

Gashumba recently gifted Manrick a ticket to watch Arsenal play against Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium in London on January 22, 2023. They have left for vacation ahead of the game.
