The English Premier League (EPL) 2019/20 season will kick off this Friday, 9 when Liverpool will host newly promoted side Norwich City at Anfield stadium.

Liverpool and Manchester City, who won the champions League and the premier league respectively, have been tipped as this season's favorites to win the EPL.

Top Four Race in the EPL

The three teams in transition, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United, are expected to battle it out for the top four.

It will be interesting to see how Chelsea perform this season considering they were banned from signing players for the 2019/20 season, lost their best player Eden Hazard to Real Madrid and replaced Maurizio Sarri, with the Legendary but inexperienced Frank Lampard in management despite the former winning Europa.

Tottenham are odds on favorite to secure a slot in the top four race after an impressive season that saw them finish third in the Premier League and runners-up in the Champions League.

Most teams have strengthened their squads with marquee signings apart from Chelsea and Liverpool who have opted to trust the same squad that won them the Champions league and lost the premier league to Man City by only a point.

Three teams to watch out for this season, who might break into the top six include, Wolves (very impressive last season), Leicester and Everton.
