TikTok sensation Zayrababy has revealed that American singer Jason Derulo slid into her DMs.
During an appearance on Cruz Xclusive, she stopped the interviewer from sharing the details of their conversation.
Zayra, who was among internet personalities that did viral challenges of Derulo’s hit song 'Make Me Happy,' was one of the Ugandan TikTokers to gain significant attention after Derulo, who boasts 66.1 million followers on TikTok, reposted their videos, giving their content a massive boost.
Other TikTok stars who joined the challenge included Coco Must Shine and Winnie wa Mummy.
Derulo also commented on one of Zayra’s videos, saying, “I think she just showed us how to do the dance for real...,” to which she replied, “I know right...”. The video quickly went viral, garnering millions of views.
Jason Derulo, born Jason Joel Desrouleaux on September 21, 1989, has made a name for himself as a singer, songwriter, and dancer.
Since launching his solo career in 2009, he has sold over 250 million singles worldwide and achieved 14 platinum singles in the US. His debut single 'Whatcha Say' topped the US Billboard Hot 100 and went quintuple platinum.
Brand deal between Zayra, Shalom Kyagulanyi
Zayra, whose real name is Desire Nandijja, recently landed a brand ambassador role with a company that manufactures sanitary pads.
She was tasked with finding a partner for the campaign and reached out to Shalom Namagembe Kyagulanyi, daughter of Bobi Wine and Barbie Kyagulanyi.

Thanks to her friendship with Dax Vibez, who has worked with her on music videos, Zayra was able to connect with Shalom’s family. The videos they produced together have since garnered millions of views for the brand.
