The inaugural Uganda Dance Nights, held on Saturday, 22nd March 2025, at the Serena Hotel’s Victoria Hall, introduced a groundbreaking fusion of Latin ballroom dance and Ugandan culture.

The sold-out event dazzled guests with glamour and elegance, featuring captivating performances from the vibrant Janzi Band.

Valentino, the charismatic host of the evening, remarked on the event’s significance, saying,

The evening's success was also marked by performances from notable figures such as Allan Kutos, Anne Kansiime, Rachael Magoola, and Sam Bagenda, contributing to the event's vibrant atmosphere.

Support for Down Syndrome Awareness

While the event celebrated dance, it also promoted a social cause. The performances from the Ghetto Kids and other talented artists raised awareness for children with Down syndrome, highlighting the importance of inclusivity.

The event's success demonstrated the potential for such experiences in Uganda's entertainment market. Sponsors like Talent Africa Group, ValRich Arts, and the Ministry of Tourism played a crucial role in making this vision a reality.
