Bebe Cool’s list to turn into awards

During an interview, Bebe said he is in preparations to turn his list into awards where accolades will be accompanied with money because he thinks this is the best way ‘these artists’ will gain from awards.

The Gagamel boss says that if he starts this event, it will be the biggest event in the East African Region.

“It is only right that this list becomes an award,” Bebecool said.

“Do not be shocked if you see it becoming one of the biggest awards in East and Central Africa soon.” he added

According to Bebe Cool, all local awards are organised in the interest of the organisers and not the artiste. He says most of them are biased and misguidedly organised.

Just like singer Spice Diana, who recently warned local awards organisers never to nominate her again or they risk getting imprisoned, Bebe Cool also came out a few years back and told all local organisers to never nominate him in any awards.

Many artistes have come out to criticise the locally organised award events, saying they are always biased and not free and fair. The just concluded Janzi and Hipipo awards are some of the awards that didn’t receive a warm welcome from both the public and artistes.
