Dr Lukwago proposed to a former news anchor at ABS Television, Sharon at a simple lakeside function attended by a handful of close family and friends as well as reporters.
The two held hands, hugged and kissed as they were cheered on by their guests.
Lukwago, who recently divorced his two wives, vowed to commit to his new wife for the remainder of his life.
“The house I am taking her to is the house I will live and die in. There shall be no other,” he said.

Sharon was famously married and had children with an upcoming musician known as Ghetto King, who was arrested and jailed in July last year following a misunderstanding with a foreign national.

Sharon was seen crying and fighting at the Makindye Magistrates Court as her man was been sent to jail.
But during the proposal ceremony, she revealed that the two had been separated by the time of the arrest.
“I was only fighting for the father of my children because we were and we are still friends, although we are no longer together,” she clarified.
Sharon also said that she and Rashid met on a holiday in Dubai.
She said he promised to make her his “last-born wife”
The two are expedited to have an official introduction ceremony at a date to be announced.
