Priscilla Zawedde aka Azawi was officially signed to Swangz Avenue record label on 1st November, 2019 after years of struggling to make it big in music.
Her recruitment came in as a surprise after one vocalist Irene Ntale left the camp to start a solo career and also venture in her beauty business.
Azawi is currently one of the next big artistes happening to Uganda music. After releasing her debut single, Quinamino, it won her a lot of fans to her brand and media airplay. Her voice and lyrical maturity tops her music game in Uganda’s music industry.
On February 28th 2020, Azawi dropped her debut first track EP called “Lo Fit”, which featured songs like Crazy Lover, Repeat It, Mbinyumirwa and Quinamino.
On Independence Day, October 9th, 2021, Azawi released her debut ‘African Music’ album that’s been trending on different top countdowns on different media platforms and in different countries.
The album has gotten top songs for party lovers like Party Mood, Majje that features Fik Fameika, Slow Dancing, Ache for you and Nkuchekele featuring Eddy Kenzo. To many that have listened to the Album, it’s hard to pick a favorite song because she gave it her all when it came to beats and lyrics.
This year, the 25-year-old music has been recognized with 8 accolades from two big Ugandan awards events.

Azawi paraded all these awards on Tuesday and thanked her supporters, fans and all followers for making it happen through her social media platforms.
“2021 just got sweeter and spicier. Album of the year, artist of the year, song of the year, everything of the year. So thankful to my fans. 2022 is another Our Year.” Azawi posted.
