Ugandan music icon Moses Ssali, popularly known as Bebe Cool, has officially released his eagerly awaited album, Break The Chains.
The launch event took place on May 29, 2025, at the luxurious Noni Vie Lounge in Kampala, drawing top industry players, celebrated artists, and influential figures from the music scene.

With Break The Chains, Bebe Cool embraces Afrocentric genres and sounds that have taken the global music scene by storm, signalling a fresh and innovative direction for his already impressive catalogue.
The album features sixteen tracks rich with lush arrangements and emotionally charged melodies that traverse a wide musical spectrum—from Afrobeats to Afrotech, a rising sub-genre of electronic dance music rooted in South Africa.

“This is the beginning of a new journey for both African music and Ugandan music at large,” Bebe Cool remarked.
The album also showcases collaborations with emerging Ugandan star Joshua Baraka and Nigerian legend Yemi Alade, reflecting Bebe Cool’s commitment to pushing musical boundaries.
