The forum aimed to strengthen economic ties between Uganda and Tanzania, with the theme "Enhancing Our Win-Win Partnership."

Uganda's team, led by Dr. Monica Musenero Masanza, Uganda’s Minister for Science, Technology, and Innovation, sought to expand the African market for Kiira Motors.

The delegation highlighted the company's extensive product portfolio to diplomats, businesspeople, and key public and private sector players.

Tanzania is a vital market for Kiira Motors, especially with the improvements in its public transport system through the Dar es Salaam Bus Rapid Transit (DART) project.

This initiative, by the Tanzania National Roads Agency, has significantly enhanced public transportation, reducing travel time, and emissions, and providing a safer travel option for the city's residents.

Kiira Motors aims to capitalize on these developments to expand its market in East Africa.

KMC’s CEO, Paul Isaac Musasizi, emphasised the company's commitment to providing robust, sustainable African-built mobility solutions that support the e-mobility revolution and the decarbonisation of transportation in East Africa, promoting environmental sustainability and economic growth.
