Insurance growth

Overall, the IRA boss expressed pleasure over the rate at which insurance is growing in Uganda, noting that this year, the uptake is expected to exceed the annual average growth of 18%.

This, he said is a result of the work that the Authority has done to whip the companies to be more trustworthy, but also the heightened sensitisation of the masses about insurance.

Some of the big winners included UAEVILLA who took the football and tug-of-war trophies, Prudential Uganda who won in netball and volleyball and ICEA who were champions in Athletics.
