Zuli Tums and Fameika were unveiled at the Coke Studio relaunch held last Thursday at Motiv in Kampala.

The event also served as a listening party as the two artists performed their collaboration that was recorded for the 2023 Coke Studio.

This season, according to Arthur Akankwasa, the Senior Franchise Manager C0ca Coca, is much different in terms of audience engagement from the past seasons.

Unlike the previous ones where Ugandan artists had to go to Coke Studio in Kenya and be watched on television, this time the experience is being brought home and into the palms of the music lovers as they can access all the action online.

This time we are bringing it back on a digital platform, customers will see a QR Code that can be scanned and you will be able to enjoy so many music experiences from artists worldwide,” Akakwasa said.

The QR code he said, can be accessed at the different Coca-Cola depots and inside the bottle top of all “Ka mini” sodas.

American artist Jon Batiste is headlining this year’s Coke Studio and has released the season's anthem titled "Be Who You Are (Real Magic)."

The anthem is a collaboration with K-Pop group NewJeans, the Grammy-winning pop sensation Camilo from Colombia, the chart-topping singer-songwriter Cat Burns from the UK, and the versatile rapper J.I.D from Atlanta.
