Video shows Bobi Wine smiling through pain for the first time

Bobi Wine's first video in detention has been shared online after Deputy Speaker Jacob Oulanyah visited him at the military facility in Makindye.

The deputy Speaker told reporters in Kampla that the Kyadondo East MP is "humorously in a unique situation" but is in a lot of pain.

The 36-year-old legislator was arrested together with other 33 people on the last day of campaigns of Arua Municipality by-elections.

He faces charges of treason, unlawful possession of firearms and malicious damage on the president's car.
