John Macharia's body was interred at the Lang’ata Cemetery Crematorium on Tuesday, ahead of his requiem mass at SK Macharia's home in Murang'a, according to Nairobi News.

His cremation was a private affair with only his family and close friends in attendance.

Accident

John died on Thursday night at Karen Hospital, where he had been taken after a freak accident on the Southern Bypass.

Police said he was driving his Porsche 911 that collided with a Land Cruiser on the Southern bypass when the accident happened.

He was a director at Directline Assurance Company.
