The singer was nabbed unscrewing car indicators and lights in Busega, a neighbourhood within Uganda's capital, Kampala.
He is popular for his hit single 'Ginkese' which he released in 2006 after wowing people at the Coca Cola pop stars competition in 2003.
Last year, Kaye got saved at Miracle Centre Cathedral in Rubaga after a moving testimony of how he almost died in his house alone.

He told the congregation that his life has for years been a mess, filled with witch craft and death reports.
In 2011, the singer was rumoured dead after struggling with illness for a long time.
