Trouble is looming for fashion diva and socialite Judith Heard barely two weeks after her naked pictures circulated on social media.

Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP) spokesperson revealed that a "general inquiry file" and the probe is already ongoing.

She will be charged if investigations reveal that she violated any law, the KMP spokesperson Luke Owoyesigire told Spark TV on Monday.

He added that the fashion diva will be summoned "any time soon" to give a statement about the leaked naked photos.

Late last month, Heard apologised to her family and fans for the "inconveniences caused" by the disturbing nude photos and said "nothing will break me or stop me from getting there and keep inspiring my people".

Uganda's Pornography Control Committee has previously warned celebrities whose naked pictures go viral on the internet -- threatening to arrest and charge them in court.

The committee was set up in 2017 with an annual UGX2bn budget to monitor and prosecute consumers of pornography and those who circulate it
