A win that was truly groundbreaking as she is the first Kenyan of Indian descent to clinch the title.

Her win has however offended certain members of the Kenyan social media scene who seemed offended that she won in lieu of what they called a ‘true Kenyan’, that is a black woman.

Thankfully, not everybody was prejudiced and a section of Kenyans threw their weight behind the beauty while urging other social media users not to be narrow-minded.
