Uganda's President Kaguta Museveni has urged Miss Uganda Abenakyo Quiin to stop wearing fake hair.

The pair met on Wednesday at State House in Entebbe after Abenakyo's return to the country from China for Miss World.

Museveni took to Twitter to compliment Miss Uganda's natural beauty but something was off -- the hair.

The 74-year-old said he was concerned that Abenakyo was wearing 'Indian hair'.

"I have encouraged her to keep her natural, African hair. We must show African beauty in its natural form," he tweeted.

It's not the first time the president has expressed concern about synthetic imported hair.

In some of his speeches, Museveni has questioned why Ugandans continue to import synthetic hair from China and India.
