Ugandan socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan will have an influential role in selecting the new beauty pageant winner in the Miss Uganda competition.
They made the announcement on their Instagram saying they are "proud to announce its first patron and judge" and that she will also be "a guest speaker at a corporate social responsibility activities targeting young girls".
The foundation also added that "We are privileged to have such a powerful woman come and be apart of this great pageant this year".
The socialite also shared the announcement to her over 4 million strong Instagram channel.
The CEO of Miss Uganda foundation Brenda Nanyonjo congratulated the South Africa based socialite welcoming her on board.
Zari has created a pool of followers over the years and she will be bringing more than fame on the table but also classy and elegance.
Auditions for the highly anticipated beauty pageant will start on 26th June for north and western Uganda and 27th June for central and eastern Uganda.
