He revealed in a statement on social media saying "June 29th (next Thursday) will be my last day on air at Radiocity".

The Radio Guy, as he calls himself, also made it clear that he is not joining another radio station; so this could be end of the road for his radio journey, for now.

In his announcement, Mckenzie says working for Radiocity has "raised the bars of my creativity" and it has done enough for him "to be able to sail on my own".

He will be focusing on his entertainment franchise "Kellagram Silent Disco".

"I want to thank you... you that has supported me all these years, I want to assure that you have so far got just a 25% of my energy and I want to get you the other 75 in a unique way with independent ideas with the same mindset you have supported over the years," he said.
