‘Power Breakfast’ was replaced by a new show called ‘Day Break’ which will be hosted by Joey Muthengi, Willis Raburu, Fred Indimuli and Waihiga Mwaura.

After Citizen TV announced the news, Kobi Kihara took to social media to mourn the demise of the show which was her brainchild with Jimmy Gathu when she worked at Citizen 8 years ago.

“May Power Breakfast R.I.P. @jimmigathu they laid our creation to rest (anxious face with cold sweat emoji) Jokes only!” Kobi wrote and Waihiga Mwaura replied with “Nothing is forever. Thank you for the support. Tune in some time.”
