The key suspect in the murder of singer Mowzey Radio, Godfrey Wamala Troy, has been committed to the High Court in Kampala for trial.
State Attorney told a court in Entebbe that prosecution gathered sufficient evidence to pin the suspect.
Troy was arrested a few days after singer Mowzey died due to brain injuries he sustained during a brawl in Entebbe Town early this year.
He has been remanded further to Kigo Prison until the High Court sets date for his trial.
Accusations
Mowzey Radio's friend, Producer Washington, came out to strongly accuse Troy of 'throwing' singer Mowzey Radio to the ground during the brawl.
In his first TV interview over the death of the Goodlyfe singer, Washington confirmed that indeed Troy led to the death of Radio.
"I can't forget the guy who beat up my friend Radio. That is him," he said after being shown Troy's picture
Delayed justice?
Mowzey Radio's mother Kasubo Jane cried in court last month after a chief magistrate in Entebbe adjourned the case for the 8th time.
She accused the courts of law of delaying her son's justice and letting the suspect "have food and enjoy sleep".
