Gravity speaks out as Chameleone’s father compares him to a dog

Mayanja, who was speaking to the media on Friday, during Chameleone's concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala, said that people should understand that his family is blessed.

"I need the world to know, going forward, that the Mayanja family is a blessed family... if you look at what's happening and how people love my children... and the things they say about them; if they were attacking people that are not loved and blessed, Chameleone wouldn't have anyone to talk to," Mayanja said.

"You saw what's been in the media, that he beat a Boda man... People had forgotten that Boda men are also badly behaved, and they put all the blame on... my son," he said.

Speaking about Gravity Omutujju, who celebrated the collapse of Chamelone's stage that led to the postponement of his son's concert, Mayanja said that Omutujju doesn't qualify to talk about Chameleone.

"You look at the likes of Gravity... Gravity is like a dog barking at a lion... I mean, an elephant," he said.

"A dog finds an elephant drinking water and it tries barking at it... but after drinking water, the elephant will just leave, but when the dog meets its fellow dogs, it claims to have beaten the elephant... How does Gravity start attacking a man who has been on top for 25 years."

Chameleone's concert was initially slated for February 10 but it was pushed to February 24 after the stage collapsed.

Omutujju had said that the concert was also not likely to happen on the rescheduled date.

Speaking to the media after the concert, Omutujju jokingly conceded defeat. 

"I've lost the battle, let me wait for part two. Now you are happy because I was defeated. I lost, I'm hiding, in the bedroom, I cried... I even feel sick," he said.

Omutujju started beefing with Chameleone after the latter refused to promote his concert last year.
