Gov’t top shots to lead preparations for Busoga Royal Wedding

Busoga King William Nadiope Gabula IV is slated to exchange marital vows with his recently found bride, HRH Jovia Mutesi.

The wedding is scheduled for November 18, 2023, at Christ Cathedral, Bugembe.

Speaking yesterday at the 9th Coronation Anniversary of the Kyabazinga, Prime Minister Muvawala named a 21-member team that will lead the wedding preparations.

The committee is chaired by Eng. Patrick Batumbya, the proprietor of MBW Consulting, a construction consulting firm, and is deputized by Martin Tibalira, a Jinja-based businessman.

Other members of the organizing committee include top government officials such as the Minister for General Duties in the Office of the Prime Minister, Hon Justine Kasule Lumumba, and the Minister for Presidency Hon. Milly Babalanda.

Also on the team is Vincent Waiswa Bagiire, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mrs Dorothy Kisaka, the Executive Director Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA).
