Fire guts Club Ambiance Masaka

The fire, according to eyewitnesses, broke out at around 4am in the morning.

The cause of the fire was yet to be established.

In some videos which were shared widely on social media, revelers and bystanders could be heard complaining about the delayed response of the Police Fire Brigade to put out the flames.

The incident comes just shortly after the club, the biggest in Masaka celebrated 25 years in the business.

Club Ambiance is owned by Kyotera businessman Joseph Kiyimba.

It consists of three regional dance clubs, namely Ambiance Masaka, Ambiance Mityana and Ambiance Kampala all running under the Lion's Disco Group.
