However to the absolute shock of my Dad and the lawyers, the presiding registrar said our case file had suddenly gone ‘missing’ from the court system and within minutes my father was sent to jail until the file could be found!’ Bly narrated.

Despite the file being subsequently found, his father remained in detention for a full week until the family mobilized Shs. 20 million to have him released.

Bly, born Emmanuel Kusasira, says the Rubaga house was built by his father about two decades ago.

The father had worked for 10 years in the UK where he secured money to acquire that land and build the house, finally managing to move his family from the Katwe slum.

Bly did not divulge the details of the land dispute or the identities of the people behind the house demolition.

But he asked his fans to keep the family in prayer, as they continue to seek justice.

“We are handing this all to God as we look forward to finally being back home with family this week,” he added.
