Boyz II Men jet in for Kololo show after lighting up Nairobi
The group of three together with their crew landed at Entebbe International Airport at around midday on Sunday June 11th. They flew in from Nairobi where they lit up the stage on Saturday, June 10, at the Uhuru Gardens during the Stanbic Yetu Festival.
Also on the Uganda Airlines flight from Nairobi was the sensational Kenyan boy band Sauti Sol.
The Legendary group made up of Nathan Morris, Tenors Wanyá Morris and Shawn Stockman are here on their first ever Africa tour which will end with South South Africa later this year.
At Kololo, just like yesterday in Nairobi, the award winning group will be joined on stage by Sauti Sol and an array of local artists that have been lined up to make the night one for the history books.
Boyz II Men had planned a show in Kampala back in December 2008 at the Lugogo Cricket Oval, which however, did not materialize after one of them, Shawn Stockman fell sick.
From Kampala, the group will be ending their Africa tour in South Africa where they will perform in Pretoria, Cape Town and Durban.
Boys 2 Men is considered one of the most influential and successful R&B groups in music history, known for their timeless hits that appeal to fans of all ages.
Over the years, they have won several accolades, including four Grammy Awards. Some of their most popular songs include "End Of The Road," "I’ll Make Love To You," "One Sweet Day," and "It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday.”
