In an interview with Citizen TV, the controversial MP said that he was done addressing the issue of his source of wealth and that his focus is on talking about issues that can help Kenyans.

Babu added that if anyone had a problem with his source of wealth they should reach out to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) or the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and have him investigated.

“I’m sorry I’ve discussed the issue of my purported having wealth because I always believ that my true wealth is in heaven. So this idea of the perception that Babu is wealthy I don’t want to discuss it, I will not discuss it, I’ve discussed it severally in this studio. I will not talk about it. My brother I have discussed this severally, I will not discuss it again. If anybody has a problem there is the DCI, there’s the EACC,” said Babu Owino.

The vocal legislator also took the time to make it clear that he had no intention to buy Wazito Football Club, as was rumored adding that his priority was his constituents.

"That is not a priority at the moment. I would rather use that money in helping my people including the footballers," the MP stated.
