The 63-year-old minister was addressing the Nordic Uganda Business Conference in Olso, Norway.

A group of angry Ugandans also accused her of being among the government officials who killed off cooperatives in the country.

"Herself, she is very corrupt. These are people are here to lure to bring the money to Africa and it's them that steal the money. She is very rich," one of the attendants said.

"You and Museveni destroyed the cooperatives we had in Uganda," another Ugandan said seeking the minister to spark more light on the "cooperatives she destroyed".

Kyambadde has served as Minister of Trade and Industry since 2011. She is also the MP for Mawokota County North in Mpigi District.
