The self-proclaimed president of single mothers has been through hell and back when it comes to her private life but her continued success is testament to the fact that things do get better if you stay focused on your goal.

Her children are now coming into their own and making their way in various industries and judging from their success so far, they are gearing up to be just like their mother – if not better.

This and the reasons listed below are just some of the reasons why we admire Akothee as a mother.

1.She supports her kids in everything they do

Akothee is very supportive of her children and their various ventures. This is obviously in relation to her three oldest children as the other two are still a bit younger – but we don’t doubt that she would do the same for them.

When her daughter Celine Dion better known as Rue Baby was vying for the Face of Nivea, our timelines were flooded with posts urging us to vote for her. Elsewhere she also posted up a photo of her daughter Vesha receiving a cheque for what seems to be a directing gig.

2.Discipline

As much as she is capable of providing her kids with everything that they need, Akothee still ensures that some form of discipline is instilled in her kids.

When one of her kids failed to pass her exams, they weren’t allowed to go on an international trip with the rest of the family – yeah not your typical punishment but this is Akothee we are talking about.

The kids also do their own house chores despite them having house helps to assist.

3.She is a hustler

Her hard work and determination to always go looking for more makes her a great role model for her children. They are able to see her work hard and be a part of it sometimes, thus appreciating what hard work truly means.

4.Co-parenting

Not every man or woman that is separated and have a child together would want to co-parent with their partner – everyone’s story is different and this is not to judge those that don’t want to co-parent.

We’re just highlighting the fact that she was able to look past the issues she had with her baby daddy and is giving her two youngest sons and opportunity to know their father.

“Co-parenting is only possible with parents who moved on and has accepted that now let's concentrate on the children. As we move on with our different lives, the ones you see in court, ups and downs and fighting love triangles; someone just wants to cause pain for the other using the child as a tool, may God punish all of you thinking in this direction. HOW MANY LIKES FOR JAFARANSA? AMBASSADOR to dhano,” she said about co-parenting.

Cheers to the Madam Boss.
