Pia Pounds stepped out on Mother's Day to spend some time with mothers in Acholi Quarters, Banda, Kampala. The artist shined a light on the plight of mothers with her music and dance which left them and the little ones in a delightful mood. The "Tupaate" fame artist spent her Mother's Day at a charity organisation that supports single mothers who have been victims of domestic abuse and violence, young mothers and under-capable mothers.

"I spent today with single mothers that have been violated and abused in their marriages, teenage mothers and those with disabilities at Banda Acholi Quarters in a development program...We had so much fun 🥰❤️🥰" she captioned her day on Instagram.

Pounds put on a performance of some of her songs but she didn't have to perform much. The entertained mothers and children were a bustle of energy and dancing. She took the time to interact with the children while the adults enjoyed the entertainment.

One baby, in particular, warmed the singer with its innocent and toothless smile. The mother of the little one couldn't pass up the chance to have the artist carrying her baby.

Pounds was dressed for the adventure in a country-girl outing outfit. An orange silk shirt, damage jeans and white boots. She was in the company of dancer Dance Mamweta who backed her in entertaining the crowd.
