Why Gashumba and Rickman's seafood dinner is served in high-end places like this

Imagine if a roadside food vendor started selling lobster and oysters in the evening. They would be one of two things; either incredibly expensive or dangerously unhealthy. You'd be right to stay away from them either way because there's a certain credibility that should come with this seafood dining.

The restaurant is a huge chaotic explosion of thick foliage and artfully poised clutter. Not that this means anything if you don't already enjoy or aren't curious about a platter of lobster and oysters.

But the ambience doesn't revolve around seafood. The couple enjoyed a four-course meal with two starters; almond mozzarella with basil and black truffle and a pie, the main dish which included Jacuzzi's famed pasta with black truffle and parmesan, lobster, oysters, and beans. For dessert, they enjoyed a plate of Basque Burnt Cheesecake and ice cream.

Why you should only eat lobster and oysters in expensive places

Lobster is worth trying for its generous protein, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals content. It is good for mental health, heart health and weight management.

However, lobsters are highly allergenic. They may become contaminated with disease-causing microorganisms or heavy metals. More sensitive individuals, such as those who are pregnant, should limit their intake.

If you are to eat it, it has to be fresh and fully cooked to avoid any potential bacterial contamination. Avoid dipping it in butter or mayo when served to keep it healthy.

Oysters are highly nutritious shellfish that offer a wide array of health benefits due to the high quality of their protein, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Although they can be eaten raw, they can pose health risks in their raw format.

They can host Vibrio bacteria, Vibrio vulnificus and Vibrio parahaemolyticus which can have fatal consequences. They may also contain high concentrations of lead, cadmium, and mercury. Their high zinc content may also become harmful if eaten in huge amounts in a short period of time over time.
