She was travelling with her mother Barbie Kyagulanyi in Business Class when the aircrew surprised them with a cake, biscuits and a picture. The little one was also given a pink sash displaying her as the birthday girl. "Day spent around a thoughtful crew," Barbie captioned the video showing the moment.

The occasion coincided with her family's travel from the United States where they have been for the past few weeks. There's an airline protocol that creates this memorable moment and luck was on the young Kyagulanyi girl's side.

Nakaayi and her brother Kampala share a birth month and their special days are two days apart. Kampala turned 18 years old on August 8th, while Nakaayi turned 8 years on August 10th.
The celebrations found the family in the United States where they have been since July 27 when Robert Kyagulanyi's National Geographic documentary premiered in New York.
